Booking Guidelines

Thank you for enquiring about holding your function at Warringah Golf Club. Detailed below are the responsibilities of both Warringah Golf Club and you as the user of the club's facilities.
This Function Information Package is to be read in addition to the Function Menus and Associated Information Package which is available as a guide to the catering options available at the club.
Having examined this Information Package and Menus Package, you are asked to come to the club office and meet with office staff where initial details of your function will be confirmed and payment made of the room hire fee and bond.Thank you for enquiring about holding your function at Warringah Golf Club. Detailed below are the responsibilities of both Warringah Golf Club and you as the user of the club's facilities.

General Conditions

All functions are to be hosted by a club member you must be prepared to sign in all function guests and remain until all guests have left the Club. This is a licensing requirement. If you are not a club member, you will be required to become a House Member prior to hosting your function.
The whole interior of the clubhouse including the function room is a non-smoking area. An area is available outside the clubhouse for smoking.
The Club will take all care but cannot accept responsibility for members and guests property left on Club premises.
Room Hire
Room hire is $165.00 inc. GST. We have a large sized room that holds 150 people either seated or cocktail style. The room can be divided for smaller functions. Under council regulations, the maximum number allowed in the function room is 150 people.
A bond of $330.00 inc. GST is required which is fully refundable in the event that no damage or loss of property has occurred within or from the Clubhouse. If the function room/clubhouse requires excessive cleaning, a charged may be deducted from the bond. The bond will not be refunded on the day of the function. This will be done by the club's office in the days after your function.
*** Please note that the spreading of confetti or similar small sized glitter materials is not permitted either inside or outside the clubhouse. A cleaning charge will be deducted if this type of material is found spread after the function.
Security Staff
Security staff are required to be in attendance for some types of functions including 21st birthday celebrations. This can be discussed as part of your enquiry about your function. The cost of hiring the security staff will passed on to you in full for payment.
Catering Arrangements
All catering is provided by Northern Beaches Catering and further information is available from their principal owner Tim Reeves who can be contacted on 9970 5751 or 0409 825 965. You are not permitted to bring outside food or beverages into the Clubhouse premises.
Food & Beverages
Food: Menu selection should be finalised 21 days prior to the function with a 50% deposit. The balance is required along with confirmation of final numbers 7 days prior to the function.
Beverages: If you choose to have a dry till, you nominate what drinks you would like served and nominate an amount you wish to allocate (eg $500.00). Bar staff will notify when this limit is approaching, you at this time can add an additional amount or revert to cash bar service only. Service is at the main Club bar. The Bar Account must be paid in full at the conclusion of the function.
Payments by credit card
Any payment made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) for food, beverages or other charges will incur a 2.4% surcharge at the time of processing the payment.
Timing of Functions
Night functions are to finish by 12.00 midnight ensuring the quiet of the club's neighbourhood.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
The Board of Directors of the Club has adopted a policy promoting the Responsible Service of Alcohol. In accordance with the law, any patron observed to be intoxicated would be refused service and requested to leave the Club premises. Any practice, which promotes irresponsible consumption of alcohol (e.g. sculling) or unruly behaviour, will not be tolerated and further service will be refused and the person(s) asked to leave the premises. Heavy penalties apply to the club and individuals if they refuse to leave the club premises when requested.
Arrangements for music are to be organised by you but must be approved by the Club.
Entry to Clubhouse
Residents who reside within 5 km of the club are not permitted to enter the club unless they are guest of a member or are a member of another registered sporting club.
As a member of the club, you will sign in all guests who live within the 5 km radius.
Please observe our dress code.
Supervision must be provided for children attending functions. In the interests of safety and compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, children must remain under direct adult supervision in the defined function area at all times.
Ample parking is available for all guests attending functions, which is located behind the Clubhouse. Entrance to the car park is via James Street. When departing the clubhouse and car park, your guests are requested to respect the quiet of neighbours.
All prices are current and subject to revision without notice. Warringah Golf Club Limited and Northern Beaches Catering are required to charge GST on all goods and services provided. This amount will be shown as an inclusive price in all menus. If you require a Tax Invoice please make this request upon payment of the initial deposit.
